Yesterday was a hard day to be meatless. Having to venture to the grocery store I found myself wanting chicken and seafood. Red meat is easier to avoid, but just the thought of fried chicken was making me hungry. I settled for a rice dish- that was actually REALLY good- but by dinner time I was finding myself super lazy and ate a ceaser salad, homemade garlic bread, and tomato soup. I was hard enough to find a soup that looked appealing with only veggies. I am a cream base girl when it comes to soup and I wanted to bite into some corn and chicken chowder.
The urges have passed for now, and for tonight I am hoping to get into gear and cook up something delicious and meat free.
